Situated in Southern Tasmania, nestled in the picturesque Derwent Valley, New Norfolk Junior Football Club runs Junior and Youth football. Our club is run soley by volunteers and competes in The Southern Tasmania Junior Football League Competition. Our purpose is to teach and help develop basic AFL football skills to our junior and youth.

Our children ARE OUR FUTURE ! Give them the tools to thrive and encouragement, the sky is the limit. At New Norfolk Junior Football Club, we strive for inclusion and equality. From Auskick through Juniors and Youth we are proud of every achievement from every member.
AFL has given our football community a new draw card with the successful plight to enter our very own TASSIE DEVIL TEAM which will ignite a fierce passion within junior football clubs around our state.

EDDIE THE EAGLE
Eddie our mascot was introduced to our junior club in 2021 at the annual Old Players Association breakfast. After a tight competition to name the mascot, Brax Able from Under 10’s won with “EDDIE”.
Eddie will be proudly strutting his stuff beside our juniors for years to come while they achieve their highs and also walk beside them during their lows on game days, family days, community events and winning smiles from everyone.

Nicks family business have provided our players with a number of $20 vouchers which will be used by coaches as Encouragement Awards, recognising players who try their best, aim to impove and are a good teammate.

Meat pies at the footy - is there a better combination? We've had compliments that the Tynwald canteen is the best one around, and the fact that the only pies we serve are Banjo's ones might have something to do with that!

Damian Bester has been a champion with spreading the news of NNJFC through his local New Norfolk News newspaper.
Coming on board as a sponsor in 2023 and 2024 Damian has been very supportive of the club. Damian sponsors our Milestone trophies for our players who achieve 50, 75, 100 and 125 club games. These are presented at our annual family day and Best and Fairest awards.
